I headed towards the Danube bank, and on the way I took this picture of Slovak National Theatre.
The attractive fountain in front of it.
This is the Bratislava Reduta. Apparently the Slovak Philharmonic resides here.
I walked down to the boat landings on the north bank of the Danube. This looks like a dinner boat.
Another dining spot, the UFO on the bridge.
I wasn't terribly hungry and didn't want to go looking for a restaurant so I settled for fast food. It was also a chance to use up my Euro coins. The other two countries I visited, Czechia and Hungary, have their own currency, the koruna and forint respectively.
Remember the inflatables earlier on in Main Square? This is what they did with them.
I liked Bratislava for being about the right size to feel cozy but not crowded, and yet have enough civilisation. It did feel a bit scruffy at the edges, and of course there were smokers everywhere, as all over Europe.
I called it a night and returned to my lodging to prepare to change countries the next morning.
