I walked past Kálvin Tér up Múzeum körút or Museum Boulevarde which is one of three streets that form
Kiskörút or Small Boulevarde. This is a busy thoroughfare of Budapest and as you would expect, the
Hungarian National Museum is on it.
This boulevarde is lined with antiquarian book shops.
And also shops with modern books.
At
Astoria metro station I dove into the system. I would leave exploration of the surrounding area for another day.
The stations are modern and clean. And there's that love of poster art again.
Station clocks show the time and minutes to the next train.
